After a couple other glitches, the ELD decided to do the charming thing where it logs you out right after you start driving. Finally got it working again, kinda. It’s still losing connection frequently. So if whoever is playing Doom while streaming Game of Thrones via cell data in Western Nebraska would stop sometime soon it would be nice.
Spent about hour and a quarter working on cleaning my empty and then another half hour waiting on breakdown and dispatch to sign off on taking it to B-D. Pretty sure the Buckle didn’t spread oil from one end of the wagon to the other. My suspicion is a Kawasaki load of Monday and Friday bikes in the recent past (found one the rack bolts they always leave behind in addition to the oil). A bag of kitty litter would have been handy but I’m carrying too much crap on the truck already.
Heading back to SoCal. I’m due back at the house on the 11th so I *think* they can’t send me again before I go home.

Last night while at my rec in blue springs mo i found a leaking wheel seal on the truck. Take it to petro in oak grove. She said it would be about 2am b4 a tech could look at it. Midnite she calls saying that tech called in and it will be in the morning. At 8:30 im in the shop after matt called them. Got out about 4pm, grab a load in kc then see that wheel seal is leaking alot worse. At the truckstop in tracy waiting to see what cb wants to do about it.

Snagged an Edwardsville off the KC yard Tuesday morning dropped that no problems and ran up to Quincy. Got there about 1600 and even tho they load until 1700 they will not (or at least wouldn’t in this case) load a day early. Lovely. Loaded first thing in the morning and traded that loaded for a loaded in Aurora going to Clayton IN. Should be there about 1400 central time and then we will see what I get outta Indianer.

That’s been there since at least Tuesday when I went by it the first time. A friend was telling me a guy he knows with a towing company got sent out yesterday to look at it. He told them it has to be unloaded before they can do anything with it. So he went back home and never heard back from them. I guess the driver is still just hanging out there with it. He told the tow guy he didn’t know what happened. LolMidWest_MacDaddy, cdavis188 and rokue Thank this.
