This no nonsense sheriff is going be the daddy to kids making boom boom threats and bringing pew pew's to school.

In other unexciting news, while driving east on I-20 outside of Talapoosa, Georgia, I did spy a Volusia County Sheriffs pickup truck heading the same direction.

This is what needs to happen. If the kids and parents know that they'll get more than a strong talking to then maybe it'll put a stop to some of this stuff.

That felony record will follow them follow through out rest of their life.

The laws on the books save the unruly kids…School corporal punishment was explicitly prohibited in 1936. In 1972, an 1891 law that gave parents some right to use corporal punishment of their children was removed from the constitution of assault in the Penal Code, which made corporal punishment of children unlawful and punishable as assault…

Our school didn’t care, i got hit with a board (paddle) the called it, several times.
Once was an over step and an authority kick, when the principal asked me by my first name, while we were on lunch break, how I was doing.
I answered back, i was fine, and used his first name.

he took me back to office and wore me out for “Disrespecting a person of Authority”
.I told him since he addressed me with my first name, and we were on break, I assumed we were on first name basis, This wasn’t military, where as him with a subordinate I’d had to call him by rank/sir.

Any other time that guy walked around s as me asked anything, I’d leave and not listen to anything he said.
So therefore, he could wear you out with a board for disobedience.

When he died, my classmates thought it was so terrible, I reminded them he was a jerk, whom cheated on his wife multiple times, got caught when he knocked one up, then divorced his wife of over 30 years, to marry a younger teacher and later he got alzheimer’s.

I said what i still felt, No big Loss.

I agree with it. Kids need to have that safety net taken away and know if they screw up it’ll impact their lives. Time to grow up.

Don't lawmakers have to make it a felony before Yosemite Sam can actually charge someone with a felony?

How are the cops going to "charge them with a felony"? Isn't that the prosecutor's job? All big talk from a sheriff but they're not "the law" just one part of it.

Not necessarily. Because the defendant is a minor, his juvenile record will probably be sealed once he reaches legal adulthood, and he might be able to apply to have his record expunged, as well.
