What if it Snows?

HAPPY FRIDAY !
Lots going on here.
Senior center rummage sale going on today and tomorrow
Farmers Day tomorrow complete with a Parade.
Estate auction tomorrow.
And it's currently 173 degrees.

 

We have successfully returned to home base, prepared and submitted the “Expedited Proposal” and I have been informed that the Yak packstring from Tibet has arrived with the roof panels for the deck so we will proceed to pick that up and then make our way to the place that provides provisions for the beer fridge (for a fee) cause the Squid is due to arrive this afternoon and he has indicated that he has a powerful thirst SO it appears that the rhinoceros will have to wait until Sunday for a visit from me

 

I'm with ya on the heat, I've had enough. Thankfully a front pushes in Sunday bringing rain, highs in the 70's and a North wind.

 

I remember stopping in Salina on our way to Portland Oregon when I was OTR. Middle of summer. Blazing hot. We get to Portland and it's mid 70's for Highs and 50's at nite. At tge time I thought Portland would be a nice place to live. I have since changed my mind about that.

 

Some over-achiever decided to go up the ramp like NASCAR… then went suddenly and irrevocably into the ditch. Somebody gets fired I bet… 2 rotators and a 3 axle wrecker that I could see easily, hard telling what was up top that I couldn’t… ​
