    Its a 30 year old truck and it doesn't sound like OP plans on running it daily. If it'll pass inspection and it runs good I wouldn't think twice.

    It’s 4 hours from me so I figured I’d see what people thought. I plan on getting the oil tested and I’m going to bring a friend of mine who works on trucks to help me look for things I might not notice. The truck will be used for my personal farm to haul my horses to shows which the farthest I travel is to Oklahoma once a year so the truck it’s self will probably get maybe 15k a year put on it.. nothing like they normally get.
