If it's just a sensor, when you remove the plug from the compressor your A/C turns on FULL BLAST, and won't shut off until you put the plug back in. If you threw a belt or if the refrigerant has leaked out, you're $h!t outta luck....
How do I play this game?

Trucking is a dick bag gig. 80% of the starting companies suck and you have to do this ultimatum bull #### to get anything done.
Oddly everything school, news, sports heros, tell us not to do. And the trucking companies know that and take advantage of the pre conditioning of us. So you have to threaten to quit.LilRedRidingHood and austinmike Thank this. -
How many newbies do any research before signing up for CDL school or signing a contract for "free" CDL from a Mega? Not many.
TripleSix, FearTheCorn and austinmike Thank this. -

Well I took the load to Atlanta after I realized it be horn is still legal. Thanks Kemosabi. One way or another this truck is getting to a terminal this week. Still no hotel room and no AC . Routed down south again. Not happy and plus I’m basically working for free. So yeah….
austinmike and 77fib77 Thank this. -
(This is going to be one of those times where I come off as an A-Hole and I really don’t mean to be….BUUUUUUUUUT…)
You started this thread over a week ago. And you are still groaning and moaning about the AC. It’s like listening to a teenage girl complaining about an abusive boyfriend that she refuses to break up with.
We teach people how to treat us. You have taught your travel agent that he can ignore you and walk all over you. Do you like being walked on?
“Well, ho hum guys. Still no AC. Dispatcher tells me that my having AC isn’t a priority…what should I do? Ho hum, I am so sad.”LilRedRidingHood, Bean Jr., 4wayflashers and 10 others Thank this. -

I remember when I worked for Western, the AC went out going up a hill north of Phoenix. I pretty much stripped down immediately and kept running the load. Knowing Western, you'll probably get it fixed once you get to a terminal. It took me some time before that occurred. In the mean time, I bought some fans and just made it work. Eventually, they took me out of that truck and put me in a brand new truck. The rookie year is always tough for one reason or another. Trucking will have these random discomforts from time to time, even to this day, 15 years later. Don't get discouraged man. It does get better.
LilRedRidingHood and austinmike Thank this. -
By not standing up for yourself you’re only showing them how they can treat you.
LilRedRidingHood, TripleSix and snowmantrucking101 Thank this. -
Yeah I just quit
austinmike Thanks this.
