FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

It's been a very long time since I posted here.
Today I was sent to our drop yard at Texas truck A/C drop yard and when approaching our normal drop spots I found this situation.

Trailer has a very heavy load and was left there with the landing gear crushed. But here is the kicker to this situation... While I'm there taking my 30 minute break a driver showed up (Jamaican) and he went around that trailer with astonishment... I walk towards him and ask...Did they send you to pick up this trailer... his answer... Yes! There crazy!

If it was me and the load was light I’d take 8 over toward Phoenix and then run 60 thru the Salt River Canyon up toward Show Low because I like scenery.

 

If you take 8 becareful some of those hills can be a little harry if you're loaded heavy.

that’s what i ended up doing, at least the Phoenix part. Taking SH-87 to Payson and a couple other state highways to Holbrook to catch I-40, then i’ll just run 40 and 54/56

 

Got a load from Savannah GA out of kw going to Michigan interesting I haven't been that way with fcc yet.
