That's cool but not neccesarily helpful. Many many people have gone under low bridges with truck GPSes.

But I don't usually use my GPS to tell me how to get anywhere. I use it to guide me along a route I already selected. It tells me the names of roads even if street signs have been stolen, etc, and can make confusing junctions easy.

Makes telling night weekend, third string replacement, bench warmer, subustitute dispatch jerks trying to get the bosses job that, "Yes, I will deliver on time, so go pound sand!" real easy.

Never rely on a GPS entirely, I always break out the laptop and Google map my route plus street view the questionable streets. Never had a problem. *knocks on wood*

Mine does that when I drive US30 in Ohio. I just turn it off.

I have the navigation that verizon offers with their phones, and it is good. Can't talk on the phone while using it and it has screwed me a couple times. You learn to look ahead at the steps and you can usually tell if it has the correct route.
