Poor old C.R. England. Everyone's against them. I bet Western Express is behind the negative England campaigns!

Crazy thing about C.R. England is they are no different now than they were around 2010.. I think they were the first mega to buy up automatics and throw all hiring standards out the windows; before Western even if memory serves correct..

I almost went there once, but went to PTL instead.. One day while on a 10 at a TX drop lot I seen like 4 drivers get out of one CR truck to drop and hook.. This was before covid, even.. It was the original puppy-mill..

 

4 drivers one truck is their orgy division.

Unfortunately this is the reason for the decline of many previously good companies. It's true the old adage about children. "Buy them books, give them an education and they will drool in the books and sleep in class."

 

I wanted one of the red Freightliner Classic's CR England used to have!!

Those actually did look pretty sharp. I met a guy a few times who drove a green one. He was always pretty nice.
