I hit it occasionally but mostly at places like BD Four Oaks there we drop on one side of the Yard and pick up on the other. Seems maybe the trailers nose points up or down depending on the slope of the yard? Havent put much thought into why but that’s the only thing that comes to mind.
Lools like he is at Crete. Could be something similar there with some areas having a low spot there the landing gear sits vs where it might have been dropped?
I don’t think I’ve hit it there so maybe just bad luck… lol
edit: nope, seems he’s on concrete pads so that doesn’t explain it either.

I clocked like 130 myself.
Are you in 1919? If you were, you parked next to me at the Pilot. If not, I saw a few others in the Pilot lot last night too. (That’s a strange layout for a parking lot. I had issues hitting my intended target. Had to pick one with three open spots and just land where I landed LOL)
Dropped SAV and got reloaded there going to Ohio so that I can run through SC today/tomorrow to Vote.
Still not as smooth as it once was but got unloaded in an acceptable time frame. I told them I had lots of time if they didn’t want to reload me right away if they needed to focus on unloads first. They seemed appreciative of the offer and took me up on it.
Sitting in a bar/restaurant tonight waiting on the Polls to open in the morning.DonRobbie, runningman0661 and Goody3635 Thank this. -
yes that was me. I didn’t even get started until 1:30 this afternoon. Basically drove to Kawasaki and back.
I’m starting to hate this truck more and more every day since i got in it a month ago. Nothing but constant problems with it and now it’s developed a couple new very peculiar issues. Every once in awhile the horn will chirp when i open the door for some odd reason. The truck has been off every time it’s done that. Also the other day after fueling up in Morris, IL, it cranked once when i tried to start it then stopped. Cycled the ignition and it started without issue.
The #### thing only has 45k miles on it. It shouldn’t be having all these problems. Maybe i would’ve been better off with 1465. Pretty sad that a ragged out 600k mile truck is more reliable than a much newer one with under 50kDonRobbie Thanks this. -
I typically run in to more trailers dropped comically high but I have had to crank a few up to get under them.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

That Pilot in Ellabell is really weirdly laid out. I parked kinda far out when I stayed there because I was afraid of getting blocked in by “make a spot” guys parking on the curb.
The shower I had was kinda odd too about a quarter turn of the handle was all the travel there was in the valve and it you had to move another handle to the right spot to actually get any water flowing. It’s an ADA shower so there’s 2 heads and the handle is supposed to switch between them but most positions send the water to Narnia and then there’s two about quarter inch areas of travel that will get you a dribble out of one or both heads, and then then there’s 2 1/16 inch sweet spots that will actually allow water to flow from one of the heads. I settled for a gentle patter of lukewarm water. At least it was clean.cdavis188 and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -
Flex tape and Flex seal is something else. Remember all those commercials with that one guy? Although i personally prefer Billy Mays and his OxiClean commercialshotrod1653 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

I parked next to who i now know was @MidWest_MacDaddy because i thought it would be cool. It was by far not the prettiest backing job on earth. When i left and came back, i parked farther from the fuel island, almost near the entrance. That being said, i don’t think it really ever filled all the way up Sunday night, or even last night. Of course i didn’t wake up until 5:30 this morning, so some people may have already left. People probably park along the curb there because they either can’t be bothered to back or are too lazy to walk, or a combination of the twohotrod1653, DonRobbie and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

I’m taking a load to Home Depot in Topeka. I thought I remembered a sign on the guard shack there that they only were receiving from 7AM to 10PM or some such. Did I imagine that? I might be confusing them with someplace else.

To be precise it’s T-Rex tape, I got it from Menards. I think it’s supposed to be a Flex Tape knockoff. Stuff has generally turned out to be useless but in this one application it’s actually working pretty well.hope not dumb twucker and motocross25 Thank this.
