Yeah,GTFO -fast!! Those paychecks wouldn’t even begin to cover the cost of the fuel being burned!!
They were paying that 10 years ago-and I was a company driver on the dry van side.
Heaven help you if you were caught up in their fleece purchase racket!Chi Town Steers, 77fib77 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Woohoo free work. You sir are an excellent company man. lol
Seriously do you complain to them about that crap. I would, they don’t work for free do they.Chi Town Steers and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Yes I complain about the company stealing from me.
Honestly, I try not to talk to anybody at that company at all. I’ve had the displeasure of working with several different driver managers and honestly they’re all despicable human beings. They have all bought into the theory that if they help the company steal from drivers then that extra money will be given to them, which is just ridiculous. But they all think the same way. Plus, there will be another bus with 30 new CDL holding meat bags on it coming in every day Monday through Friday.tscottme, 77fib77, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Oh I bet they would help, they just feel you’ll let them get away with not.
Well if your not paid for it tell them your not doing it. If they don’t give loads it’s not like it’s gonna hurt to much. I mean your not making enough to be worth your time.
Seriously there’s got to be better out there. Even if it’s a local home daily job. It’s gotta pay better. Definately look into it. if they give you the boot f them so be it. Maybe be preemptive about it. Tell’em trucks coming to the nearest terminal and that’s all. Nothing more. Let them wonder. Make sure you get fuel before hand though. And do it through the eld.77fib77 Thanks this. -
You would’ve thought that the tornado would’ve given that company a sense of humility. But apparently not!SMH

I appreciate your transparency with all this, but I have to ask, how in the hell do you end up having to drive 320 miles for free? The only way I can see doing that is if I had just topped off the tanks and was driving the truck to the nearest terminal from the house to clean it out. Seriously, even as a noob I can't see myself doing that, but who knows, I'm not in that situation.77fib77, Sirscrapntruckalot, dosgatos and 2 others Thank this.

77fib77, mjd4277 and Chi Town Steers Thank this.
