Same as any other transmission. Keep your air system clean and you’ll be fine.

 

The Canadian government is confused...the transmission doesn't produce any greenhouse gases, those come from the internal combustion diesel. As far as what transmission you have doesn't matter if the truck is spec'd and driven properly. My Freightliner at Creaffer had the D-12 AMT and I averaged in the low 7's pulling a reefer trailer. The Volvo 860 I am driving now has a 13 speed manual and is averaging 8+ pulling various open deck and conestoga trailers.

 

How fast do you drive to average 8+?
