Just make sure you check in and stay on top of whoever you talked to. We first checked on R and L in the 90s.We talked to other husband and wife teams that loved it. We were told there was a hiring freeze. Checked back in about 2000 and still not hiring. Checked in in 2010 and found out that they were outsourcing team runs to outside carriers. When we called back in 2014 we were pretty much hired on the spot. Our TM said that RL made a critical mistake outsourcing team runs and had all kinds of customers leave due to service failures. Now teams are treasured here and HW teams stay together longer than non HW teams. Good luck

Get your experience and move on, established teams are hard to come by and companies will pay a premium to get one. Most of the time they throw two drivers together and hope for the best.
You wanna make a killing and not run super hard like most teams? Could get into cryogenics and get paid for everything not just mileage pay. I know a hydrogen team that was over 200k at the beginning of November!
