Why do you have your own truck and only 1.5 years of experience? Most folks don't get their own truck until they have at least gone through trucker "puberty."Lonesome, firemedic2816, snowlauncher and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm going to bump your thread as this the first time I've seen a thread about this Satan-based ripoff. I worked there from January, 2023 to October of the very same year. To say that, that place is run like a concentration camp is putting it mildly. Yes, I was flown in and put into a truck the same day I arrived in Lake In The Hills, Il. Yes, they promise high pay. ROTFLMAO! But you'd better ###### well hope they like you. They had it at one point in time to where you could run two ELDs to get the job done. How? Everything was done on your phone or on your assigned tablet. I had to leave after a situation involving a load of cherries, an unwanted three day vacation to their lovely terminal and of course having to pay a lovely deductible for the low, low price of $2,500.00 paid through three weeks of me going home with negative pay stubs. Then of course there was my all time beautiful dispatcher whom trapped me in the Northeastern United States after I refused to take another load to Washington after the aforementioned fiasco. This was due to me having a very important doctor's appointment which I missed. I was then fined $500.00 at her request despite her assigning me a load that I meticulously did the math for and told her that due to the hold ups, wrong addresses given and my HOS, that I wouldn't make. She then kicked me off of her board. When I was assigned my last load and left in West Virginia, I fueled up their truck and drove to the terminal. I then ordered my plane ticket and Lyft and left them behind. I flew out that next morning and never looked back. Oh they called and threatened to fine me for not "using the apps" when the truck was moving. Kind of difficult to use your apps when I'm not even driving your at that point. They then called and told me I was supposed to be back over a week ago to which point I belly laughed and hung up.
I'd like to talk about the deposit that the OP mentioned. Mine was $1,250.00 in 2023. It was taken out of at least five of your checks and put up. If you quit, they would return it to you on your next pay stub. They held mine for over two months until I threatened to bring in the FMCSA and Labor Board. They were trying to charge me for that deductible I mentioned before for a second time until I showed he the stubs from that fateful July. Oh yes. I recommend them highly as a company that you can brag about working for. Run and tell your friends all about the lovely time you have working for Vista Trans Holdings. I guarantee you it'll be a blast. NOT! Those reviews are paid for or they have the office rats writing them. How can you tell? The English is more broken than the morals of the American household. They try and often succeed in getting the negative reviews removed.
I have a friend who has a fleet of trucks that he has signed on. He's been trying to get me back since I can't tell you when. Each time, I refuse his offer despite the promise of making a ####load of money out there. I'm out of the game and plan to stay out. One time was punishment enough. @Animeblue000 , I wish you all the best in whatever it is you decide to do and where ever the wind takes you. Good luck in your career.bondin and snowlauncher Thank this.
