They have benchmarks for each run. They pay you only the number of hours that they have set for you to do the run in. I'm kinda questioning in my mind how one can run 6400 miles in 110 hours. We'll see how that turns out. If thats true thats only .36cpm. I'm kinda wondering now whether I made the right decision.

Bancroft and sons is this a good company to work for anyone know, THEY ARE MAIL CARRIERS
-
Been at Bancroft since October of 2009 now. All the mail carriers pay the same pretty much based on what the Postal Service requires them to pay for that particular contract. There are a few little differences when you have to stay in a hotel or something. I have only done that once. I don't know how common that is with other companies. Overall its not too bad. The schedules are fixed so I sit a little bit at docks, but never too long. My company or the Postal Service(not sure which one) has my route pretty well timed. I run 5 days and I waste around 12 hours each week running teams sitting at docks waiting. I guess it could be worse? I don't get paid for that time or else I would be fine with all the wasted time. I like weeks where the weather is bad and my load is delayed so I can be late everywhere and they are waiting on me rather than them.

Did you ever get the info you wanted about Bancroft?

12 hours a week UNPAID? Per a 7 year old post but still that’s pretty bottom feeder’ish sounding if that’s still true today.
