Drivers be aware of lease purchase scams. BF Prime/Beverly

Believe me, we can't sigh enough. You call a company, you claim to have searched this company out, and you would "give them a shot" if their ELD wasn't so sketchy. That's whats holding you back. Not the 1750 truck payment, not the getting ripped off, etc. it's all about that ELD.

Some of us have been in the trucking industry a long, long time. Those who are retired are full of insight that someone who is presumably new (not sure if you are or not, don't care), may find useful. Frank Speak simply saying he will remain retired simply means that he gave it up a long time ago for his own reasons and doesn't see any reason to return, especially not to any lease purchase deal like you are on the fence about. So calm down, man.

 

And why the heck not? I personally have been in this group since 2008. I know a whole lot of the guys and gals here. Been talking with them for years. Why should I walk away just because I am retired now? When a moderator tells me its time to go, I will. Not someone who has been here three months.

 

I'm a retired trucker. Why shouldn't I post on this forum? I have lots of experience I can share should I choose to. I just don't choose to share too much with yahoos that only come here to either whine, or rationalize their poor decisions.

 

I don't know about you, but when I did drive, it was the "retired" truckers on this forum that I looked to when I needed to know anything. I did lease purchase as well, but as they say, "the house always wins". I was one of those who just couldn't get on well some people at the companies that I was leased to. I went back company until the frustarations go the better of me and I left last year after almost a decade of it. I don't see why you'd comment on this forum if you probaby know that you won't like some of the answers you'll receive. Some are a bit of fun but about 95% of the people I've come across here are really helpful. And so they're retired. It's a free forum and they can do whatever they want. A lot of drivers benefit from some of the advice offered here and that includes me.

Awww... You're no fun. Let the man come out retirement. Besides, I hear Ol' @Frank Speak is a vampire. He could do with some fresh blood.

 

So you both are here looking for what, a gold mine to come back to? If you have any sort of experience, you'd know that's average. I'm adding to the convo youre not. The guy previously replied giving his experience with this company. Read everything? I did. Honestly, I do get bugged out. Things like this that show what kind of people we deal with.
