Last time I was in Laredo was probably 4-6 month ago, right now there’s border and highway patrol EVERYWHERE. lots of them patrolling a lot of back roads on ATVs. I wouldn’t say Laredo is dangerous, however it’s hectic when it comes to truck stops, folks leave their truck anywhere and go get a shower, shower lines have 2-3 hour wait.

Just realized my load is hollow on the inside. Might be a good idea to tell border patrol to check inside of it in the morning
1951 ford, TX2Day, blairandgretchen and 11 others Thank this. -
Reminds me of hauling peppers in bins back in the late 80s from the border. I went through a check station and they poked each bin with a steel rod.

I’m naturalized. I’m not concerned.

Before they discovered rubber boats at Calais they used to sneak into a trailer, often by climbing on top and cutting an entry with a knife. Never mind if the driver knew about them he got fined £2,000 for every single one so the last person he wanted to see was a cop.

Talk about hideous, the 589! The wider cab has more room, but that 1 piece windshield and the tapered hood just ruins the look for me. Oh and that dash, yuck, just takes away from the truck look to me.
One thing I noticed driving the 589’s for the local dealership, steering is not always right, steering wheel not straight on 6 out of 10 of them….Sons Hero, singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford and 11 others Thank this. -
