Didn’t the trainer go over it? I only ask because that seems like something important to know before you go off on your own. Those small details can make or break you. Putting it in D, and driving down the road is the easy part

It's a lot more complicated than that. QCom was easy. The tablets are loaded with more junk than you can imagine.
My advice, learn the basics and you'll be fine.austinmike, Lonesome, Cherokee65 and 2 others Thank this. -

My driver leader helped me today. My TE did go over it and I wrote everything down. I just got so busy and flustered I forgot about it. I’m 1 step closer to “getting it” now.austinmike, Friend, Lonesome and 3 others Thank this.

I forget to do that too. Took me a very long time to scale a load to make it legal tonight. I think I got it after 4 times on the scales. I’m taking this load to near Dallas. It’s 79,100 I think. All I know for sure is that going up hills is a very slow go. And jakes going down. I’m just taking my time. I got down to 7 minutes on my 14 tonight trying to find a place to park for the night. Can’t leave here until 7 in the morning. Leader asked if I wanted to go home for the weekend and I told him that if I sit on the couch those wheels don’t turn and need them to turn!austinmike, Concorde, Friend and 4 others Thank this.

I-44 had pretty heavy traffic tonight through St. Louis. Heading down to Texas on 44 tomorrow. I got my truck. It’s a 2025 Cascadia.
