Update on our "lack of gas" situation.... Mention of CNG. Not sure, but could it be transported; in tank trailers, @homeskillet @Dale thompson to a hospital, acute care nursing home, or similar facility? Back it in, spud in past primary in connection. Depending on time frame to restore, drop and hook as used.

Way back in say 1945. Swift and Co had a large operation here in West Point, processing milk into ice cream/cheese and dressed poultry.
Something with their boilers (cleaning or repair) and had to be shut down. Rail spur ran alongside the eastern side of the plant, loading/shipping dock then extended to the boiler house/coal shed. Coal arrangement was push in a coal car, it be hand scoop unloaded into the coal bin 3' away. Bin had slopedf loor and coal would feed down by gravity and be machine fed in to the fire boxes. So, head in a steam engine, connect its steam out to the plants system, and sit and steam. I do not remember the arrangement to resupply it with coal, (Pull its coal tender or bring a car of coal and toss over- swap out engine/tenders?)
But it had to provide hot water for poultry processing, and steam to power a steam engine to run the refrigerant compressor, it's flywheel was over 6 feet tall.

I will try to find some reference to the plant or this
