The joys of going home in March and living in East Tennessee. Instead of gradually getting accustomed to grass growing, trees, and flowers blooming. You get out of the truck and straight into the pits of hell. Allergies on high alert currently.

Delivered this morning in Roberts WI, Pretty nice place to unload. Received my preplan yesterday. Becker MN to Papillion NE. Spoke with my dispatcher and he said I can drop it in CB and head to Fremont for my stuff. Next load will be fence for Riverside.

Picking up at some Floor and Decor DC in Baytown literally around the corner from where we pick up Walmart loads after they finish unloading me here in New Caney. Load is going to Omaha. With the impending blizzard coming i might try to make it home and then assess from there. Blizzard isn’t supposed to make it that far. But it also depends on how heavy they load me. They’re calling for 50-60 mph gusts across northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas with higher winds the farther north of Wichita you go. I won’t drive in that unless i’m loaded at 40k or over and it’s not top heavy. Any less than that and i’ll park it somewhere in Oklahoma and wait

that’s exactly the way i took. The best way to avoid Houston traffic is by not going near there in the first place.

However i’ll most likely get into the DFW area at the height of evening rush hour so you can’t win ‘em all

I’d like to think we could have a little more respect and keep our area clean, especially when you can stop right next to a dumpster to clean your trailer out.
