Been hearing the stories for years now but got my 1st eye full last Wednesday AM at the Road Ranger in Springfield, IL..

5:50am go in to drain the main vein. Zip & turn toward the sinks, just 2 of them. Stopped dead in my tracks, can't help look'n, but the expression on my face had to be pure disgust.
Ol snake charmer wash'n feet in the sink. Look in his face & he just staring daggers at me. When we catch eyes he quickly slips the wet foot back in his air Jesus sandle & scurry's out..

When dad went, I knew the moment his soul left his body. Didn't matter that his heart was still beating and took what felt like a long time to slowly fade and stop, he was gone long before. Despite what is said to the contrary, death is unnatural.

Just wait till you’re washing your hands early in the morning and some moron blocks one side of his nose, and blows the contents of the other nostril out in the sink, or all over the sink! There’s some mighty nasty & unprofessional freight relocaters out here, much worse than it was years back…..

Nope - can’t do it. I’m usually the most naive of the bunch - I’ve been schooled enough this last couple of weeks in a few things. Mainly trust - and gut feeling.

Venn diagrams - you know, those overlapping circles, like - everyone knows everyone - and. - well it doesn’t add up.

I look back at threads posted - there is none. Just quick comments, and mainly in this thread. Where there are a bunch of good hearted guys.

So I’m calling it, and send me to hell if I’m wrong.

What purpose it serves? Dunno. You appeared late 2023, nobody knows you - but if I’m wrong - post an obituary, photo of yourself, Pastor Paul or whatever.

It bothers me to see guys that are literally ‘shirt off back’ characters - deceived.

How dare I etc. That’s my thoughts - and honestly fear. The longer I live, the less trusting.

There was a lady that died, marine sons, etc. posting a while back. The sons posted for her. The post on the guest house for Tx and general theme was eerily similar. I try to give stuff the benefit of the doubt on forums, because, really, it doesn't make a lick of difference in my life if it's real or not, and in the off chance it's real, I don't want to be "that person" when someone is down and grieving. Without an obit at the least, I'll chalk it up to someone getting whatever they get out of sad story telling.

Lack of pics is always suspect on heavy posters. I mean I don't post my ugly mug, but load and truck or even farm pics is kind of a given here when a person is being even remotely genuine. Catfishing is as old as 300 baud modems. I was always shocked when meeting people I met first on a BBS when they were actually who they said they were, and that was back when it was all pretty local (because who could afford to call long distance anyway?).

The best part is if you say anything to them is somehow makes you a racist or an a hole.. well I guess alot of people have thought that of me lately. I got 3 fingers from other truckers this week already and it ain't even wednesday yet... some people are unashamed of their own stupidity and don't you dare say anything about it to them
