the cheaper alloy cymbals don’t wear out, what generally happens is after constant play, they will develop cracks and split. another issue is the hole where it mounts to the cymbal stand will key-hole as well, and that’ll make the bell of the cymbal sound off and will eventually crack as well. Yup. The cheap ones you can crack and split with enough use.
