In a company I worked at there was a review on employees from the drivers. I do not see any Driver can receive a review from other employees. This system is like Yelp. It is called, “Voice Your Choice.” Initially I learned about this when an employee did her job well and I remarked with much appreciation
and she requested that I give her a 5 star on VYC (Voice Your Choice.) I had no clue how and for many months I remained clueless but I always remembered her request. Again a similar situation happened and again a request to leave a 5 Star review. I inquired for instructions and she didn't know herself.
Later it was encouraged by the Company to use the VYC and had instructions. The instructions were immensely poor leading me no where. Then while fiddling with the Tablet installed in the company truck. I came across the way!
I left a few Positive Feedback. And I left a few less than Positive reviews.
The backlash was immediately and immense from the Planner to whom receive the less glowing review. The cause a wave in the company to assign short loads. The impact was immediate on my pay. The Planner in that area was not helpful, not friendly.
Planners in the company are a mixed bag of peanut from ones who are sharp and great at their job while others are a thorn in the drivers behind.
If there was one regret I have is leaving the review even if honest.
After some digging on Google, I see others have the same complaint after leaving a review on VYC and low mileage they were dispatched on...
I wonder why a Company would steer its drivers towards this path of destruction unknowingly causing such a ripple effect.
I started trucking to have a career. I wasn't there to play mind games or develop enemies.
If Drivers are to leave these reviews know it can cause them to eventually leave their job.
Better to send an email to the CEO of the company to complain from an email not associated with your account with the company.

Just leave the reviews right before you quit. Last couple days. Save it at the back of your head and do it as you finish your last run.
Knucklehead, hope not dumb twucker and ducnut Thank this. -
How did you not realize there would be repercussions?
In a subordinate employee scenario, they will always have the upper hand, over you. “They”, meaning everyone besides you, can criticize you to the end and it’s OK. Never the other way around.Knucklehead, TruckDriver87, snowlauncher and 3 others Thank this. -
You must've been pretty candid on that review.
Knucklehead, Lonesome and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
I would never post any kind of feedback unless I could do it anonymously. Heck, I don’t even accept Facebook friend requests from co-workers!

These are mainly meant to see who would bad mouth them, especially if they are not anonymous. Like employee satisfaction surveys. There is a reason they want you to leave feedback so badly. And they want "great feedback" but also, since it was via tablet, that was the clue right there. They would see right away whether you were a cheerleader or not. Like I said, if you have negative feedback, you can leave it safely......leave it right before you clear out your truck your last day.

That's pretty common sense bro... pissing off dispatch when ur a truck driver, is like sending food back at a restaurant then telling the chef u ####ed his mother. Then expecting not to have some rocky mountain oyster sauce mixed in when u get the plate back.

I feel bad for the guy. There are still a lot of people that think that an honest critique won't cause them a problem. KInda glad he posted that here so others get to see this topic. Younger more idealistic people often think "they just wanted my honest opinion". I do feel for him. Those employee climate surveys and all of that, there is a reason for those, and it isn't for you to help them change how they do things. They already know what people like or can't stand. They want to see who will voice it and who won't. They could fix all of those things overnight if they wanted to. They just want to flush the complainers out of hiding.

Am I the only one that wishes they could see what he put into the reviews?
DON'T Put it here!. That would make it ten times worse, they watch these places.
