That is exactly what teamate & I settled on after that 2nd time way back then. LOL
I like @radioshark pillow on seat bit, too. Same idea, but much more apparent.

One bit of advice I took to heart early on was to never get out of the truck without your charged phone, wallet and keys at a minimum. I had a spare key so I could leave the truck running, and had the basics if something happened. And you'll never end up being the guy tying up a lane at the fuel Island because you locked your keys in the truck that way.
My trainer could do fuel stops like a pit crew in the Indy 500. I always told him when I was leaving and when I was back when we were team driving.Last edited: Mar 17, 2025
TB John, JForce28 and Knucklehead Thank this. -
Hey @radioshark how are things at magnum? Been thinking of going back after 2.5 years of local dedicated and was looking to get the skinny on whatever came of the rumor about driver facing or AI cameras somebody posted last year and how the miles have been lately?
nextgentrucker Thanks this. -
Curious who your trainer was... If you don't want to post his name, just put his initials or his truck number. (for future trainees)nextgentrucker Thanks this.

It’s not driver facing, it’s not to bad it’s the netradyne and the camera does not even have a lens for driver facing Wear sunglasses it keeps the thing from monitoring your eyelids for “”driver drowsiness”
Things are going good getting 2500-3000 a week when out which is fine with me. Spending more time at home only 1 kid left in college had 2 up until last year and 3 years from retirement so I’m slowing down, my choice. treated good and left alone. No issues getting home, most the time get home early.A_C_Cooper, nextgentrucker, Bumper and 1 other person Thank this. -
I probably asked before but what's your hometime like there?nextgentrucker Thanks this.

They are the same thing to me.

His first name was Joel and last initial was T. I can’t remember his last name. He’s from North Carolina.
It’s a shame magnum seemed like a great company and I was already told I got a great dispatcher but unfortunately I never got that far. Nothing like driving a Peterbilt.Knucklehead and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
What's the difference between Freightliner and Peterbilt driving wise?
-
Similar to the difference between an apple cart and a Cadillac.Knucklehead, cdavis188, JForce28 and 3 others Thank this.
