Probably not if you weren't a paid employee.
You don't have a cdl, right?
Maybe @brian991219 knows more information.austinmike and born&raisedintheusa Thank this. -
No I only have the permit but I've been through school. I passed the pre-trip. But failed the skills all 3 times. I know it's because I suffer from testing Anxiety. I've done it to many times in class and can explain to a person on how to do the maneuver.
austinmike and Chinatown Thank this. -
Apply to another trucking company school.
Where is your location?
Which school did you attend?born&raisedintheusa Thanks this. -

Welcome to the forum, the absolute best of luck to you and your family! God bless you and your family!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.
Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round. -
Welcome aboard, desperate, you say? You came to the right place. We've got desperation by the dump truck full here. Not sure there's any kind of database for people who failed a school. I'd have to think, you pays your money, and come on in. The bigger issue is the anxiety part. It's normal to be apprehensive in any new venture, but if you fail at it now, before you invest any more into this, it may be a sign trucking is not for you. Skills in driving a semi is about the worst thing to fail, as it requires all skill, you can't be a wuss,,,sorry, but seriously, you may want to look for other employment. Good luck.
austinmike, tscottme, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this. -

So, learn to relax, pretend the test is just being out in maneuvers.
austinmike and tscottme Thank this. -
It been a long time since I took my CDL test but. I failed the driving test but the trucking company that was training me also was Certified testers for the state. So had to do another week of training. I was nervous everyone was when testing.
Another week of training and driving with instructor help so was more comfortable with I tested again. I was being trained by the mega fleet back then and they said they will train us till we past. I always thought maybe they were a little more forgiving than the regular state DMV inspectors but they fail me so maybe not.
The funny part was instructor at school told me, maybe I was not cut out to be truck driver. That was a long time ago. Now I would say they were not good at training. They were tough and that was kinda good because when I went to NYC or the Northeast I could make tight turns just like they trained me. I’m not perfect but some of the schools don’t teach driving good enough. They should be able see the problem a new driver is having and work on that more. So at testing comes you pass. We did lots of city driving that’s the hardest part of driving as they told us, anybody can hold steering wheel straight going down the highway. -
FearTheCorn and 201 Thank this.
