In order to be relaxed about the skills test, you must focus on what's at hand, in the moment. Don't focus on passing or failing, only focus on execution. The one mistake too many new drivers make early on is looking too far ahead. Focus on what's directly in front of you.

Anxiety is one of those issues that people can't acknowledge as a severe disability which is BS but it always has to be something else like depression but in itself is a major issue and will cause you issues down the road. I don't get nervous or anything like when I was in high school I just get angry which is why MMA was perfect for me to vent those problems, specializing in wrestling with jiu jitsu. I recommend it to anyone even if you don't have anger issues. I would be very cautious with any doctor or employer who you tell you have those issues. Jobs have a habit alone to deny for it legal or not. If you tell your DOT doctor you will suffer. One the reasons I never check those disability boxes you will be discriminated against the majority of the time.

You can be a trucker despite what others say, but you need to find your niche. I generally hated all people, so in my case, driving a bus isn't a great idea. I never liked OTR, never knowing where I was gonna be every night, finding parking really irritated me the most All the states I hated most aside from CA I hated CO, particularly Denver. Finding parking after 12 was a problem, and a lot them spots taken by local drivers couple times I had to park places I didn't want to but that city parking sucks. I wish you luck but know it won't get easy in trucking.

    ^^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^^

I was a CDL instructor for 3 years, had my own school for a year.

To answer your question, no. They have no way of knowing unless you tell them.

Now to what @snowmantrucking101 was saying... 50% of ALL trucking accidents are when the truck is going in REVERSE. When you think about the amount of time a truck spends going FORWARD vs how much time is spent in reverse, this is an astronomical percentage of time.

Have to ask yourself, is your "anxiety" because you are being tested? Or is because you are being watched? If it is when you are tested, ok, I get it. If its because you are being watched, well then FOR SURE this aint the job for YOU...

This one seems to be the easiest to pass. I don't usually recommend it based on some saying the pay is too low. But, you need to get started, so can't be too picky if you want to be a trucker.

If you attend another school, don't tell any other students or anyone else you attended another school.
If you do, there's a 100% chance someone will rat you out to the instructors.

Totally agree, a lot of people cannot keep a secret, or keep any thoughts to themselves.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.
