I quit. I wasn’t planning on leaving at all, I almost have 1 year experience, just short, but I’m not putting up with this crap effective immediately.

Woke up to a call from a very nasty woman who was incredibly disrespectful to me yesterday after she screwed up her dispatch and tried to blame me. She wants to know why I’m not on my route. She wants to know why I’m not doing something I’ve never once been asked to do by anyone and had no knowledge of. She wants me to come in so she can finish milking the 4 hours left on 70.

Well long story short, maybe that lady shouldn’t have such a ####in ##### yesterday. Hahaha you called the wrong guy. Yeah let me hurry up and go get there. NOT

Oh and by the way, the way my account is structured, I’d be working overtime today for free. Zero pay. No money. Free free.

I’m in their truck, my truck, right now at the OC. Here’s the plan. Tell my boss on Monday. Take the summer off and go back to Schneider in the fall/winter on a dollar account in Vegas. Winter in Vegas sounds so much better than summer in Vegas.

My current boss is a problem. He’s a weasel and he can’t be trusted at all. He does not have my back at all. He’s already thrown me under the bus multiple times. I could just transfer now, or get another company lined up, but I don’t wanna be a job hopper. I know the dollar tree account will be much more relaxed than what I have now. I can come back to the same company in a few months and finish my year experience while doing an easier account.

I haven’t thought this through completely so please advise of the flaws in my plans. I may edit this post as replies come in.

Leaving now without a job lined up sounds like a recipe for disaster.

    Just sayin'.

But I understand that sometimes we just get "Mad as hell and we're not gonna take it anymore!"

    Good luck, whatever you decide.

Thank you. I’m going to try to get my old job back. My boss practically begged me not to leave. And he was a good boss.

I would never go back there. If they defecate on you once, they will defecate on you again...and again...and...well you get the point. Just get a local job and be done with it.

I hear that. I really don’t think it’s a company issue. It’s an account issue. They have some spineless scumbag with hardly any driving experience running it. I didn’t get #### on at all from where I left, I left for a pay raise and to move to a tax free state.

I'm confused......I thought your boss was a "weasel" who "throws you under the bus"?

Do you mean your boss from the job BEFORE this one?
