Delivered tanks yesterday to a Costco in Texas.

General contractor fighting with Costco overseer all day. We were told 8am - crane arrived at 10am, I was the second of three tanks and left at 7pm.



The concrete deadmen are 18’ long. There’s supposed tanks are 71’ 6” long and require 2’ of clearance either end. I saw a bit of a problem.

If I wasn’t so annoyed about being there 27 hours, I’d probably have found it funny, them 2 grown men wasting about 10 men’s day, crane crew and drivers - while we watched them beating each other with their peckers.

 

Time to get this party started….

My Tikka 300 Win Mag now identifies as a 6mm Creedmoor. Gonna slip it back in the stock and head to the range

 

Had to open up the barrel channel a bit, but we're torqued and ready.

No sympathy for contractors telling customers the way they have deviated from specifications is "good enough". You're doing delivery and you know the customer specifications, no excuse for the contractor. Costco has done this before, they are the ones paying, you need to do it the way they say. End of story.
