Duffy is for Truckers!

It doesn't look half bad at all. I'm actually surprised. One thing I think is odd though...the parking issue is way more prevelant in the Northeast so why focus on a dead freight area like Florida first?

I know he did say this is just a start. The problem with the northeast is many of those areas don’t want trucks. I say we oblige stop delivering up there. then they will realize how much they need trucks

 

Considering the revenue they generate from all those trucks via taxes, permits, tolls and other various cash flow avenues they ought to love trucks.

And usually when these grants get mentioned, the "free market" folks and budget hawks come out of the woodwork condemning them.

How much was just saved by eliminating minting the penny and how much $275 mil? proposed for new parking..cracks me up!

Not long ago 1 billion was proposed and now it is 275m?
