Says it pays W2 weekly and comes with an apartment on site to live in. Knocks out 2 birds with one stone for me.
Sounds like it’s an easy job too, North Vegas to South Salt Lake and back. Drop trailer and pickup a new one.

I’m going for a test drive on Tuesday

I'd definitely check that one out.
Even if the living quarters isn't that great, think of the money you can bank. Seems great for a single person.

$1500 in the pocket or before uncle sam rips you a new poop hole? Any benefits? Where would you live? Is it a dorm with 20 dirty hillbillies? If so I’d keep looking and stay clear. What’s the point if you’re away from home and have zero amenities and money doesn’t make sense. At that point might as well do Uber and make more.

North Las Vegas contains the rough areas of Las Vegas. So, check it all out carefully.

Company can't guess what the Feds will take away for taxes, so they always quote pre-tax pay. How would company know how many dependents the future employee will have on his taxes? That detail greatly influences the bring-home pay after taxes.

If that ad accurately describes the job, it seems pretty good to me. I still would want to talk to the current driver doing the job or the last driver doing it, but maybe the operation is so small he is no longer an employee.

UT gets winter weather, but at least a Lehi destination keeps you out of the SLC traffic. You can stop and get your very own I Love Beaver t-shirt at the truck stop in Beaver, UT.
