Someone needing a translation app should be substantive proof they don't meet the language proficiency requirement.

 

Just go into a loves or Peelot there’s plenty of them walking in and first thing they do is shove their phone in the clerk’s face with the translator app.

 

I wish more would do that.
I was in a grocery store recently and asked an employee a question. They pulled out their translator app. I walked away.

 

I've been unloaded by a forklift driver who needed one of those apps before. Luckily those guys can usually make their point with just hand signals. He just did it that time because he wasn't sure who got there first, me or the other truck.
