He called it ‘cauliflower ear’ - his were in pretty good shape.

By the time he started playing they had adopted the practice of taping the ears, headband style - so that rucking wouldn’t cause so much damage.

Rucking is the practice of the other teams standing around the collapsed ‘scrum’ and digging in with sprigged boots - to retrieve the ball.

nah hoss i was going wayyyyyy over in another direction . Lol

 

Went out to the old farm this afternoon to look around and check for any new scrapes or rubs, and take the cooker on around the hill. Ended up stepping off the MF and rolling my ankle, landed on the ground beside the left front tire….

 

them suck , makes for a weak ankle for a while .

 

Took some aleive, think I’ll go up to my buddy’s place and set around the fire and drink a beer….

 

Elevate that hoof, will really help with the swelling. Especially with a few “blood thinners” in a bottle on board
