My cousin died at 42 leaving a wife and two kiddies, skin cancer. Sorry to hear about your family’s loss.

@OLDSKOOLERnWV - I bought her a potted plant for her birthday this month- that took me an hour to decide on - and a stupid card with a lame joke that I crossed a few words out of, and added some new jokes in.

Repaired the scratch on a plastic fairing on (her) F-150 at a body shop (yes - I was the culprit) , and she wanted a huge salad for birthday dinner. I obliged.

It gets tough after 15-20 years of marriage to a bride, to get that same sparkling of the eyes that existed in the younger years, for birthdays and anniversaries - and we know how this job allows us to miss or ruin a lot of them.

Anniversary number 19 coming up in December - all suggestions are appreciated.

For a woman who has access to Amazon and bank accounts at any time, surprise becomes a challenge.

 

Mom's been gone a little over a year now. We brought all her cats out here after she died.

They were older and some had health problems. This is the last one. Her name is Minnie and she's has successfully convinced her way into our no cats allowed home.

My shop cats come over and give her dirty looks through the window

 

And she gives them that look - and says
