    It might be they don't know what's being loaded on the trailer when they book the load. It amazes me how many brokers don't know what the load is when I'm negotiating. "It's refrigerated groceries."

    Got sent a load assignment to pick up a load at the port in Jacksonville, FL. Precool to -10 for a Sara Lee products, you know frozen breads and cakes. I get there and it is a load of ladies sportswear, a division of Sara Lee. It was mid July and the dockworkers enjoyed the nice cool trailer. So, sometimes the load planners don't know what the exact product is.
