I would go ahead and apply to Schneider. I started out with them in 2018 and found them to be very understanding and helpful. They might hire you, they hired me back on in 2023 when I had a less than 2 year old speed ticket (19 over in a cmv). Go ahead and try. The worst they can do is say "no".
Seat belt ticket, what's my chances getting hired in the future?

Oh ok. You won't need a refresher i don't think. You can get hired on somewhere for sure. You want only tanker? Or does it not matter what type of trucking?
-
It kinda doesn't matter to me, I know there's a local tanker outfit right close to me. Thinking about trying to apply for them, and if they kick it back, applying to Schneider instead.Chinatown Thanks this.

What part of NC do you live?

Western NC, about an hour west of Winston-Salem, and hour north of Charlotte.Chinatown Thanks this.

If its not on the MVR or PSP, it does not matter. Seatbelt in our world is not a big issue
-
if its on the PSP, then you MUST put it on your app. Otherwise this is withholding information/failing to disclose. They will find out and they wont hire you.
Just be honest. A seatbelt is semi-serious but not the worst.
wrong, the companies pull the driver's FMCSA. They see a seatbelt violation on the PSP and it's not on the application, they will boot his app for lying/failing to disclose.EurekaSevven Thanks this. -
