It never hurts to fill out applications regardless how much seat time you have, someone took a chance on you with zero experience look at it that way timing is everything.
There are ALOT better options available out there now than where your at.
You need to do what is best for you because we are all just statistics in the anal minds of office personal, oil & water always has been & always will be they have a reason why they are right everytime.
