Home Depot in Topeka will probably be losing their new drop lot

    "
The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) today announced the acquisition of Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas, reinforcing IHRA’s long-term commitment to preserving motorsports history while reimagining legendary venues for the future.

Originally opened in 1963 as Topeka Dragway, the facility later evolved into Heartland Motorsports Park and became one of the most versatile motorsports complexes in the country. Over the decades, Heartland has hosted major national drag racing events, road racing, karting, motocross, and countless grassroots competitions, earning its reputation as a cornerstone of Midwest motorsports."

Last time I went there it wasn't too bad. A couple of the employees treat the area like their own personal race track. But I was in and out in around an hour about 6 months ago. It was easier than some of the loads going to a new or remodeling store. Were you in Council Bluffs today in a white Volvo?

They do struggle in extremes. I know in the summer extremes, I’ll pull the cab curtain to keep the cooler air in the back half of the cab. Winter extremes, I’ll run the Truck if it’s colder than the anti gel protection range.

Easy in n out… not normally congested at all. Turn Right after you get on the Yard and Easy check in at the door at the corner of the building. They are normally pretty quick. Newer Construction so it’s a pretty nice yard.

But don’t ask to use their bathroom… lol … they don’t share well with others.

I normally stop short and roll in for the appointment. I have never parked there overnight as I always get feedback not to. Not sure if it’s a great place at night or not but during the day it’s not bad.

I don’t “think” there’s a gate so if push comes to shove, and you need to shut down on site, you probably could park there… Just never have.

Drop delivery at Houston Chewy is about the same as the Mt Juliet Chewy. Vector sucks and it's easier to deal with people.

next load. Msi in Baytown to msi Lenexa
