FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Same, I used to run up and down 81 every week from TN to mostly Jersey 20 some years ago and this was always a favorite stop of mine to get a hot meal.

 

I guess it's my turn in the #### show... I have been waiting for over 34 hours for a preloaded at Mars in Lancaster, TX... they haven't started loading it yet, and there 3 or 4 others waiting for a load out of here still. Their lot has a TON of massive ongoing concrete repairs...
AGAIN.. some of the same spots they have already done somewhat recently. You would think they could find competent concrete hands in a state full of Mexicans.

 

Whatever concrete company bid that job is a genius and is probably sending their kids to college on Mars alone. Just like you said they’ll finish one section, start and finish another, and then bust up and redo the one they did prior. And that lot has so much extra room it’s not like it’s inconvenient or anything.

 

And they lay it soooo well.

And they plan their work to be as out of the way as possible. I finally got loaded this morning. 46 hours after I first showed up.

Ok, you win the #### show of the week award… swing by Safety the next time you are in Fremont to collect.

TN to NJ is about all I did for a few years between 1998 and 2000.

 

After 5 van loads (1 to get home, and 4 more to get repositioned) I'm back to open freight.
