At the TA in Zion, Il tonight. Headed out to southern Illinois tomorrow. No telling after that.
BTW, the pot roast dinner at the TA is really good! Wife had a hard day with a pulled muscle in her shoulder and thought I’d get something quick and easy for supper.

We’re at the Wilmer, Tx OC today. Should have been delivering a load today but the Espar heater decided to quit at 00:30.

Looks like today is a wash, at least we did get 74 miles in. Good grief, I can’t wait for a couple more weeks to go by! I did find out that the ambient thermometer gets moved from the grille or drivers mirror to under the engine so it registered 8°-10° above the real temperature to stop the engine from idling until the actual temperature is under 22°. The problem with that is it also causes the batteries to drain to the point where they don’t have enough power to start the engine.

It's a shame that such a large company like this nickel dimes yit to the level of being ignorant to show their real feel about their employees.
Good luck to you & your wife in your new adventure and glad to see you not giving them the satisfaction to keep you sucked in for yrs before you have had enough.
