This maybe a fact. Let’s give it a little more time before coming to a definite conclusion. Appreciate the straight talk.

I won’t quit on my end. That would never happen. Only thing is if I run out of cash or credit.

    ElmerFudpucker Thanks this.

Be careful what u wish for... Take it from someone that lost all their cash and spent the last 2 years as a company hand trying to rebuild everything.. maybe its time to rethink what ur trying to do, if theres no work.. theres nothing wrong with running a company ride. Or switching plans to something else. Why stay stuck doing something thats gonna take u out? These are all your choices at the end of the day. Cant blame anybody but yourself. Im only speaking from my own experience

One of these states considers it a superload. If the dimensions are 1 or 2 inches off, then potentially a second state classes it a superload. If it's wide AND heavy, you'll need to factor in weight permit costs too.

I haven't said too much on your heavy haul questions because that's not my wheelhouse. Over dimensional is my wheelhouse.

In my opinion, once you're over 15' wide, you may as well be 25' wide. Even if a state doesn't require 2 escorts, you're going to want two anyway - and GOOD ones.

I realize that you're not doing any harm by asking questions, but if you're contemplating a 16' 6" wide load, you best be doing some research and get your pencil out. If the broker or shipper wants an "All inclusive rate", and your cost and time calculations are wrong, you can easily make nothing on the load.

Your situation is sounding more desperate by the day, and throwing stuff at the wall to see if it sticks isn't a good strategy right now.

Good luck in making some good decisions.

Thank you. I’m sorry that you went through that. Hopefully things will turn. I have just started. Have to give it time to see where it goes. I plan on doing that as long as I don’t run out of cash or credit.
