At the quarry everything tools is Cheap-O and big (no 10mm haha) the "good" stuff stays in the shop. Saves time when you drop something down inside, don't have to crawl in and get it just put the loader bucket under the discharge belt and fire the plant up- BANG! crunch crunch BANG! Most stuff survives, pretty tough.

I do have a couple sets of Wright sockets in the truck. Kinda forgot I had them since they rarely see daylight

I would have liked to find the persons responsible for the disappearance of my tool box. Full of proto and SK. Most of those were inherited from my uncle. Also had a pretty good selection of MAC, Matco and snap-on in it. Unfortunately not insured. Who ever did it knew what they were after. Cut the dead bolts with a carbide circular blade.

Yep, been there...pretty much why I'm rebuilding my tools for work, and frankly, a lot (not all) of those HFT tool brands are not bad. I tend to try and avoid the China made ones, but they're sourcing out to India, Taiwan, etc..and are pretty good quality. The one set I still have, since they weren't in the vehicle when mine got stolen, was my S&K 3/8" Socket set that is still kicking, but the Quinn line at HFT comes kind of close, and a little cheaper than the Icon, but not much, with the same lifetime warranty...but I don't put much stock in that kind of warranty anymore, as we saw what happened to Craftsman...so it can happen to anyone.
Add to that, we lost our landline about a week ago, and found out from the tech that it's their line.....but they aren't fixing it. They're making everyone go VOIP rather than repairing the copper lines, so I spent the day calling on that. This forced obsolescence just peeves me. I won't be able to use the home phone landline for 2 weeks....analog I could have used it today. Technology sucks a lot when you've been brought up on analog that just works, until they make it not work.

Teresa's dad went to get a set of 3/4" drive sockets. Local industrial supply place is a Wright dealer. He didn't ask the price, just told them to put it on the ranch account.
His jaw hit the floor when he found out it was over $1300.broke down plumber, exhausted379, cke and 11 others Thank this. -
Wasn't me but hey if I find it I won't let you know fer sure. Lol
Dad stil has his original Sk set...sales rep showed him how to get warranty on sockets. All you got to do is hydraulic press a marble into em. To bad if you lost one, you will be sifting around in the dirt til you find it.broke down plumber, exhausted379, cke and 4 others Thank this. -
