After 39 years I had finally had enough!
Hung up the keys January 2nd.
I've been to every state, most of the provinces of Canada, driven on every interstate. I was primarily a car hauler but also pulled dry, flat, reefer, tanker, pneumatic tanker, detachable gooseneck, double gooseneck, end dump, belly dump, piggybacks, household goods.
I can't say that I will miss it! It was exciting in the beginning but after 20 years it was just a job.
