Thinking out loud trying to figure out why there would be so many seats available at a "great company" that drivers rarely leave. Also, why should new drivers be skeptical of each bay being full of damaged equipment once they arrive to their new terminal. How does the driver lounge look? Are the current drivers actually brave enough to speak out loud about their experience so far? Will you the new guy be sleeping in a loaner truck during your orientation instead of that 2 star rated hotel they promised you? Will you ask your HR or recruiter why would they consider you picking up an abandoned vehicle for less mileage pay than what you were originally offered before your arrival to orientation? How about asking if no touch freight means not hammering 2 by fours down in your trailer because the shipper says they don't do that part of the loading process. Hopefully some of these questions would come up over the phone before you send copies of your personal information. Just thinking out loud for some newbies.

Outta have a safety meeting every day. Gotta stop. Listen with phone on mute, and log an hour and a half while people ask questions like, is it ok to shift during a turn from a dead stop at a redlight.

Great Question!! The more orientations a company has means their turnover is higher.. So if they have an orientation every week then their turnover is most likely high... Twice a week?? Yeah these companies are well over 100 percent...maybe approaching 200 percent.. Avoid the high turnover companies.. ## I love trolls!!!! I wish I could own one...like a dog...good boy!!!
tscottme Thanks this. -

this is the drivers responsibility, not the shippers.bryan21384, Lonesome and Speedy356 Thank this.
