Just in, a new company has moved into the permian basin, promises of high paying loads, large net pay settlements and family like atmosphere. Instead, they give negative settlements, charging hidden fees and attempting to scare drivers into providing free labor! You have probably guessed the name by now! It is none other than BLC Transportation out of Springfield, MO. They are doing the same thing here that they are known for doing in Alaska and for some reason our state representatives here in west Texas are letting them do it! The legal issue here is that they are misclassifying drivers as contactors and using them for free labor. I have text messages where there lead driver clearly states that "one of our employees is no longer with us so please delete the group chat". I also have all of their so called contracts that are written as an empoyee handbook and can prove that they are knowingly violating both Texas laws as well as federal laws. Hopefullly my complaints and violation reports to the FMCSA and Texas DOT will put a stop to this rip off company before they get to rip off anymore truck drivers!
