2026 Volvo 860, first one in it. This was part of the problem, did first PM at 15,000 miles.

Truck reached 40,000 miles during most recent Blizzard, run was from Georgia/Alabama to Fontana, California, Blizzard was heading East-NorthEast, I got under the Blizzard on I-10 westbound to California. Owner within the company I was driving for is a previous SHOP MANAGER, was scheduling a PM for the truck DURING A BLIZZARD, told the guy, 8 years at this, I DON'T NEED TO HAVE YOU SCHEDULING PMs for me, I KNOW HOW TO GO AND GET A PM DONE !

Im from Arizona, had a Medical Appointment in Arizona, guy is asking me to drop the truck off first the PM and take an Uber to Med Appointment ! Negative, funds came up short for Medical Appointment because in addition to deducting $500 weekly for escrow they also too $500 weekly for two tires even though I was a COMPANY DRIVER !

Money short, I skipped Arizona and headed straight to California, told the guy I would get the PM done in California 5 miles from the delivery in Fontana.

Pay Period cut-off is Thursday at 10 am, delivery is scheduled for Thursday at 6pm. Three Months with this company I've been paid numerous times fir runs delivered on Friday even.

. . . .but received my statement from their accountant for $700 for a week, they didn't include the run I was on and due to deliver that same pay period ending day, I KNEW SOMETHING WAS FISHY being that previously I've been paid for runs delivered on Friday even.

Myself and their Accountant had not been getting along because she had NEVER applied the monthly raise that I was suppose to receive, kept saying it would be on the NEXT CHECK !

The way these Chicago companies work is if it's a Serbian company, nothing but Serbians work in the office, same with Ukrainians and in this case Moldovaians. Yet they are MORE THAN HAPPY TO HAVE BLACKS DRIVE THEIR TRUCKS !

I told their Accountant that I recommend that she stays there working with her OWN PEOPLE, because NO OTHER REAL MULTI-CULTURED COMPANY would allow her to get away with DOING A HALF-### JOB, and I doubled-down on that from FACTS in that my Daughter's Mother in Mexico is a CPA that handles MILLIONS OF DOLLARS of INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTS !

They said that was CRUSSING-OUT their ACCOUNTANT because I used the words 'HALF-###" JOB !

Seeing a $700 pay settlement I knew that I would need more cash, thus I headed back to my 120 acre Arizona Ranch in Lake Havasu, Arizona on the border with California in that I was expecting my Escrow from a previous company to be waiting for me in the mail at my Ranch, my deliver was not until 6pm that night in Fontana, plenty of time.

Did that and headed back, got word that the delivery appointment had been changed for the next day. That being the case went ahead and scheduled the PM for the Truck 5 miles from the delivery, while I was at the TEC Volvo Dealer in Fontana having the PM done, JSS Shop Manager showed up and took the truck according to him because I did not have the PM done in Arizona.

BOTTOMLINE:
They need to keep their SHOP MANAGER in the SHOP !, and LEAVE OTR DRIVERS ALONE !, Not FLYING AROUND THE COUNTRY KICKING DRIVERS OUT OF TRUCKS, you CAN'T APPLY "SHOP STANDARDS" to TRUCKS ON THE ROAD !

Keep in mind that I had just finished making my $4000 escrow deposit via $500 a week deductions, which in all essence brings your effective pay down to 50 cpm !

Long story SHORT, it was time to get the truck and start CHARGING THE NEXT POOR DRIVER $500 per week till he / she reaches their $4000 ESCROW DEPOSIT !

Left on MY OWN, I took AMTRARK Palm Springs, California back to CHICAGO !

$1700 RUN Not Paid
$4000 ESCROW DEPOSIT Not Returned
$5700 TOTAL STOLEN

Typical CHICAGO !

. . .but IDOL - ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF LABOR is pretty good at HANDLING THESE SCAMS, New rule is if they DON'T PAY IMMEDIATELY, then THEY "OWE DOUBLE" !

I also have a Chicago ATTORNEY !
JUSTICE WILL BE DONE !

This should be enough to bring PROSECUTION / LAWSUITS against every THIEVING TRUCKING COMPANY that has ever STOLEN FROM ME !

 

I've been trying my Damnest to NOT INVEST IN DEPRECIATING ASSETS, IE: a Truck !

I just do LAND !

. . . .but I'm coming around to SEEING THE ADVANGTAGES of having MY OWN TRUCK !
