Also in Rapid City the pilot dealer on the east side is always cheaper for the pump price. Dealer 4.22 vs the corp on the west side is 4.99 todayFriend, hope not dumb twucker and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Not sure how many trucks Pilot runs out of Rapid City. I know they run one out of Murdo. And I don’t know how many they have in Sioux Falls. I also don’t know how many independent companies haul for them up there. But it’s a touch over 700 miles to Sioux Falls and back. I would be that most days the discount is better in Sioux Falls than it is in Rapid because it’s easier to supply that store and they’d want to push fleet fueling to that location.Trucker61016, hope not dumb twucker, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

I see they haven't gotten the fuel solution for the reefers sorted out. I am a live load (and have 3/4+ tank on the reefer)

Probably bad trackers or whatever. I remember once they wanted me to check the fuel of a trailer at Holland MA drop yard and take it to get fueled if low.
Which I wonder if they still use that yard? Once had to get road service to come to lift a trailer that sunk in the ground a bit. Also my GPS always wanting me to turn right out of there. Because it reads the 35 ton straight truck limit instead of the 40 tractor trailer limit.Friend Thanks this. -
They still use that yard in Holland. Right after the blizzard a couple weeks ago I spent the night there between my 2 Mass deliveries. (2 stops on 2 different days and neither had overnight parking)
The fuel solution on this load was almost as dumb. Emptied out at Lineage in Murfreesboro, picked up at Interstate in Murfreesboro. When I emptied out, my original fuel stop was New Baden, IL, tractor - fill. After I did my load call (almost new trailer with 3/4+ fuel level) it changed to the Rump Ranger in Marion, tractor - fill, reefer 10 gal. (This was less than 20 min later). When I slid my cards to turn on the pump at the Ranger, the display said "authorized for 46 gal" on the tractor, kinda like when they unlock your card when the fuel solution system can't give you a location because you're too low on fuel. -
I feel like the fuel solutions are about to become wildly stupid/inconvenient for the drivers and theyre going to be strict.
Friend, Knucklehead619, 48Packard and 5 others Thank this. -
What kind of nonsense is that? What else is the fuel solution good for?Friend and navypoppop Thank this.

Anything under 1/4 tank confuses it...even if you're sitting at a fuel stop that's in the company network...but you have to remember, our IT department employees are most likely U of NE graduates, so unless it's farming, football or cow tipping, it's a confusing foreign subject.Friend, Gearjammin' Penguin, hope not dumb twucker and 4 others Thank this.
