After I delivered to Romeoville, they sent me up to Niles, IL to live load (where I got the 1st weird fuel solution). Rich Foods. Live load with a 15:00 appointment. Got there early, and was loaded and battling Chicagoland traffic before my appointment. Those guys were not only quick, but friendly, send me there anytime!! That load went to Murfreesboro, dropped that Sunday and went to the other Murfreesboro customer (Interstate, one of the better customers. They have their poop in a group). That load was going to N. Platte, but they had me drop it at the E. St. Louis drop yard. No empties there, so they ran me over to Unilever in Edwardsville to grab an empty. After I get it washed out I live load in Earth City on a short load to Wilmington, IL where I'll live unload, then head up to Belvidere for a drop and hook load going to Arcadia for Friday. Since my 34 up in Blizzardland I have been running, and the last 4 or 5 days I have been pushing my hours right up to within 15 minutes or less of my 70.

That only does that if you’re son to an 1/8 of tank of fuel an you’re a good distance from a regular fuel stop..otherwise it doesn’t

According to my initial fuel solution I was supposed to fuel at the Lincoln terminal last night. I rolled through there around 2130 or so and was SHOCKED to find the fuel island was closed (not really). I did what they've told me to do the last 15 or so times they wanted me fueling therefore after it closed and drove another 50 miles before sending for a new fuel solution and the compiter decided being at 1/4 tank of fuel meant I was good to make it all the way to Kingdom City. 300+ miles away. Needless to say I didn't do that but I'm a little concerned they'll pull the same crap on a new driver and they'll actually try it because "the computer told me to do it".

On the bright side of things, the last solution it spot out no longer has me fueling at the LC terminal so there's a little less time wasted.

On my way To Shafter, California from Eagle Mountain Utah… Trailer I’ve got has not had an inspection in 11 months and the indicator lamp on the front of the trailer is just about completely out… Another driver who decided to drop the trailer there at Tyson instead of taking it to the yard in Salt Lake and letting the shop fix the issues on it so now I’ve gotta deal with it once I get empty tomorrow morning… this industry has gotten to the point where these steering wheel holders and that’s all I’ll call them. Think their job is just to sit there and hold the wheel all day and not do anything else…

That’s another problem, they can’t/won’t hold the wheel all day. They want to park at 5 or 6 hours………..
