What is the drop and hook pay ? I am starting next week

 

They pay you for 45 minutes for a drop and hook which is about 15 dollars at my hourly rate

 

45 mins each ? Or 45 mins for doing both

 

I gotta change routes because a green horn can’t stop hitting electric poles.

What are you guys thoughts on trucker GPS? I have an old Garmin DEZL770 and it's on its last legs. I'm tired of having to plug it into the PC to get it to update. What do you guys recommend as a replacement?

 

I’ve used Google Maps my entire career, and just read road signs.

Orlando is the only city in Florida that almost got me in trouble with “morning star/landing star” being no trucks, but only no trucks when heading to the suburbs.

 

I tried that... Ended up lost in Kentucky around my first couple loads into my career. Never again...

I use it as a map, and to scope customer property

it’ll straight up tell you to drive through private farm land here lmao

 

I would just replace it with a newer Dezl model, they can update over Wifi now.
