I take it you can't confirm, since it's not working until you replace the switch and test it, or at least meter it?

The loose connection in the back , or pushed in all the way connection in the back happened on two of mine, the other 1 it was something in the inside of the switch rattling around and not making a connection. All I know is they are all junk now.

Wet your fingers and put them together! Come on! Kidding, the headlight circuit can handle some amperage.

Yeah, I kinda figured @HillbillyDeluxeTruck would be dealing with something that had had a fire or short for it not to be the factory white numbered wires. I posted that link just in case anybody wanted to save it - @sawmill 's lovely bride blew up that schematic for me to like 2 foot by 3 foot - I took it and copied it, had them laminated, and gave one to my mechanic - good for using erasable markers on chasing faults. It's come in handy.

That Supermiller site has a few schematics on there, luckily one for my 1995 with DDEC 3 and opti-idle. Came in handy last week.

I'm just hoping on his truck they used the logical wire colors and correct sizes so he can stitch it back together.

I almost forgot, they make the fried pies fresh when you order them. Don't get one to go and about the time you get up to speed on I-40 grab it and take a bite . You'll burn the crap out of your mouth and that hot coconut filling will go places in the cab that you'll never be able to clean up. I know this from experience, I wasn't always a pro eater.
