Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Did you go in to the store and get your ticket validated? I parked at the Petro in Bordentown after getting a washout and had to go in and show them the receipt for the washout. They took my washout receipt and parking ticket, then scanned the ticket at the register and validated it as paid so when I scanned it at the gate, it let me out free.

 

Well, my hometime has been delayed. I had a spare 40 min on my 70 to make it home today. But, the only empty trailers they had at the Arcadia DC were filthy. If I were going straight home, I would clean it out there, however, they decided to have me drop this empty at Tropicana in Bradenton, then bobtail home. So now, I have to fuel it, find a washout, then take it out of route to the customer to drop it, and that will cost me too much time...so, I won't get home until tomorrow...maybe switching to Crete might be an option...I will think about it over hometime. I am really tired of trying to reorganize every plan I have when they suddenly change things....or I could take this trailer to Deland and drop it, bobtail home, clean it out, then take it back to them next week...I am just venting...but I wish they would just make a plan....then tell me about it before the last minute...but that would be to much to ask. After all, this is the "seat of the pants trucking company"
