Nothing says "Look at me " better than a bright yellow strap. The strap looks pretty clean, like it was recently put on so he could get to a repair facility.

Article doesn't say the reason to put him OOS. IF it was air leaking from the leveler valve. Would it be legal to put a vise grip on the supply line to stop a leak?
I don't know, is it legal to drive with air springs not working without air leaking from the system.?

I seriously doubt he planned to haul another load with flat airbags. Sucks that he got caught doing what many other drivers have done. Trying to get to a repair facility.

Carpenter Scotty and xsetra Thank this.

Why even cross a scale like that?
Brownsville is easy to detour around.

I have seen drivers drive for months, maybe years, with clapped out airbags and totally oblivious to the situation.

I have even seen drivers hand off clapped out trailers to other drivers, and driver after driver totally clueless as to the mess underneath.

    Hammer166 and OldeSkool Thank this.
